Family Therapy

Families have a way of doing the same things over and over.

They bond in familiar ways and argue in the same ways, even when it stops working. I help families find new ways to communicate, experience themselves and family members differently, overcome (sometimes long-standing) conflict, and learn to be together in healthier ways.

When families come to me, they want to address things like:

  • Adult children and parents issues

  • Family estrangement and reunification

  • Communication issues (especially during transitions)

  •  Coping with a family diagnosis of chronic or terminal illness

  • Mother / daughter issues

  • Addressing codependence and boundary issues

  • Boundary setting

I’m trained specifically in how to help family units get unstuck, reduce conflict, and interact with each other in new ways.

If this sounds like your family, reach out and let’s work together.
